Kerri Chinner – Senior Supervising Facilitator
Bachelor of Social Work, Certificate Holistic Therapies
Kerri is a Senior Supervising Hoffman Facilitator, teaching in both Australia and the UK. She has a Degree in Social Work and is a qualified Somatic Bodyworker and Massage Therapist. She owns and operates her own Holistic Therapy Practice, Inner Essence.
Kerri is a qualified Animal Healer and Communicator, assisting others to live in kinship with all life, is a qualified Radical Forgiveness Therapist (having completed her training through the Institute of Radical Forgiveness, USA) and is currently completing her studies in Energetic Medicine with Alberto Villoldo through The Four Winds Society, (USA). She has spent time in Peru, having studied and worked with the ancient healing practices of the Amazon and Andean Shamans. www.inneressence.biz
Jutka Freiman - Senior Faciilitator
Jutka Freiman is a psychotherapist and group facilitator. She has a degree in psychology, graduate membership of the Bereavement Care Centre, is a supervisor and trainer with the Institute of Group Leaders. She is a learning supervisor with The Training For Excellence as a Coach, Supervisor & Consultant Programme (see ASCCANZ). Jutka is a trainer at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).
Since the mid '80s she has worked extensively both locally and internationally using inner child work, gestalt, somatics, bereavement, psychodrama and other action methods and art therapy.
Jutka is in private practice in Sydney and is available for group and individual therapy, supervision and training. She brings to her work a passion for the creative and the collective believing both to be an expression of the inner being and magnificent tool for healing. She is delighted to have the opportunity to join the Hoffman Process as a teacher.
Volker Krohn - Senior Supervising Facilitator, Director
Masters in Existential and Experiential Psychotherapy (MIECAT)
Volker Krohn has been the Director of the Hoffman Centre Australia since 1992. He was personally trained by Robert Hoffman in the late 1980s and is a Supervising Teacher of the Process.
His professional background is in family therapy, Self-psychology, Creative Arts Therapy as well as in organisational development.
Volker's commitment to the Process's vision, to enable people to be at peace with themselves and with others, has inspired thousands of participants in Australia and worldwide.
Maggie Mcleod - Senior Facilitator
Ph. D Biochemistry, Dip Art and Design
Participated in the HQP in 1990 with Bob Hoffman and maintained a close and strong relationship with him until the time of his death. Maggie has been a staff member and facilitator since 1993.
Professional background: Early academic training was in Biochemistry followed in later years as a ceramic artist and a passionate and dedicated involvement in conservation work. 30 years of experience in personal exploration and in personal growth groups and a wealth of experience in counselling, both individuals and couples.
A passionate interest in the whole range of human experience and expanding and transforming ourselves into the celebration of love and who we truly are.
Craig has been a facilitator of the HQP since 1993 and works in both teaching the Process, and training teachers internationally. Previous to his work in the Process, Craig worked in Body-centred therapies and has also trained in counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
Personal growth has been an active passion of Craig’s for the past twenty years and he feels inspired in being able to help people discover their own, unique, essential selves. He is also in ongoing study of ‘Essence Psychology’, an approach that combines meditation and spirituality with self-psychology.
Stella
Horgan
- Senior Facilitator & Therapist

Stella has worked with The Hoffman Centre for
over six years on staff at the centre and as a Senior Facilitator of the Process.
Stella is deeply committed to her work
supporting others in their exploration of inner life, untapped resources and
magnificent potential, and is passionate about the Hoffman Process and the possibilities
that it opens in people’s lives.
After attaining a B.A. and a Diploma in Higher Education at
The University of Cape Town, Stella completed a Graduate Diploma of Counselling
and Human Services at La Trobe University. She is a Professional Member of the
Australian Counselling Association.
Stella sees clients in her private practice and also
facilitates meditations, workshops, group processes and Hoffman Graduate events.
She consults with individuals and companies to assist them in advancing and
activating their vision and what they are called to do in this life.
Stella is enrolled at the School for Social Entrepreneurs in Melbourne, and is
developing a Visionary Leadership program for South African communities, and
also an international program of insight exploration and nourishment for people
working on the front lines of caring and trauma fields, which has launched in
South Africa this year.
Stella’s varied background in the Film and Television industry, Project
Management and Personal Development field brings a rich experience to her work
at The Hoffman Centre.
Marie Burrows - Senior Facilitator and Therapist
Marie utilises a vast array of training and experience in psychotherapy, primal therapy and other personal growth techniques, both as principal of Birthing Rites Australia and as a Hoffman Facilitator since 1990. Her techniques focus on ‘feeling our feelings expressively so we understand how our bodies carry shame and pain, to ultimately heal and create more love in our lives’.
The breadth and depth of Marie's experience and dedication spans over 35 years. She has had an extraordinary amount of ‘hands on’ experience working with people across all walks of life in all kinds of life challenging situations. She has spent countless hours teaching pre/post-natal classes, supporting mothers in labour (also adding valuable insight to the partner in their role in birthing), has ‘sat’ for countless individuals and groups in primal therapy, and has conducted thousands of therapy sessions for individuals, partners and families.
Marie works tirelessly to empower people in their journey to dealing with past/present pain, shame, the birthing experience and parenting.
Anne has a background in the health field that spans thirty five years. She has a Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Social Science, Counselling. Anne’s professional background has included General and Psychiatric nursing and Midwifery which gives her a broad understanding of the human condition.
She continues to further her understanding by studying Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Systemic Constellation work and Essence Psychology.
Anne is the Hoffman Centre's representative in Singapore, where she also runs a private practice which includes both individual and group work. She is very committed to her work as a therapist and believes that through personal growth and counselling, people are able to find deeper meaning in their lives.
